AsetPrep was founded by Yashdeep Banwala, a Perth Modern School alumnus who experienced the GATE exam process firsthand. After seeing how many students struggled with preparation, often relying on expensive tutoring or outdated practice books, he set out to build something better.

What started as a small question bank in 2023 has grown into Western Australia's largest GATE preparation platform, with 3,500+ practice questions, 10+ full-length mock exams, video lessons, detailed writing feedback, and in-person classes at Rossmoyne Senior High School.

Every question on AsetPrep is written and reviewed by experienced GATE tutors and Perth Modern School teachers. Our content is specifically designed for the WA Academic Selective Entrance Test, not repurposed from other states or generic aptitude tests.

We believe that every student in Western Australia should have access to high-quality GATE preparation, regardless of their family's financial situation. A private GATE tutor in Perth costs $80-120/hour. AsetPrep provides more content, better analytics, and proven results for a fraction of the cost.
