Weekend classes for Year 4 and Year 5 students at five venues across Perth, taught in small groups, with the AsetPrep online platform included. Term 4 runs for ten weekends from 17 October to 20 December 2026.

Five venues, one timetable
Every venue runs the same Saturday and Sunday sessions, morning 9:30am to 12:30pm and afternoon 1:00pm to 4:00pm, so you can pick the one closest to home. The room and address are sent to you after you enrol.

- English: Reading Comprehension and Writing, with every writing task marked and returned with feedback.
- Maths: Quantitative Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning, taught as exam technique, not just content.
- Printed booklets each week, worked through in class and taken home with parent answer keys.
- Zoom stream and recordings of every session, so a missed class is never a lost class.

Term 4 dates and pricing
- Saturdays: 17 October to 19 December 2026.
- Sundays: 18 October to 20 December 2026.
- Sessions: morning 9:30am to 12:30pm or afternoon 1:00pm to 4:00pm, at every venue.

Where are the GATE preparation classes held in Perth?
Classes run every Saturday and Sunday at five Perth venues: Rossmoyne, Southern River, Osborne Park, Warwick and Brabham. The exact room and address are shared after you enrol.
Which venue is closest to Harrisdale, Canning Vale or Piara Waters?
Southern River. It is about ten minutes from Harrisdale and Piara Waters and next door to Canning Vale, with the same timetable as every other venue.
Which venue suits families north of the river?
Osborne Park for the inner north, Warwick for the north west, and Brabham for Ellenbrook and the Swan Valley.
What if my child misses a class?
Every class is live-streamed via Zoom and recorded. If your child misses an in-person session, they can watch the recording or attend via Zoom. Zoom links are sent in the enrolment confirmation email.
What year levels are these GATE classes for?
The weekend classes are designed for Year 4 and Year 5 students preparing for the WA GATE entrance exam, also known as the Academic Selective Entrance Test (ASET). Separate programs run for Year 7 head start and Year 9 GATE entrance.

Can my child attend the classes via Zoom only?
