GATE schools families from Brabham aim for
A GATE offer is the way into these selective programs in the north east and Swan Valley, and into Perth Modern School:
- Perth Modern School (fully selective, Subiaco)
- Governor Stirling Senior High School
- Morley Senior High School
- Hampton Senior High School
- Kalamunda Senior High School
- Mount Lawley Senior High School
Our tutoring is pitched at every one of these targets, not only the Perth Modern cut-off, so your child builds the same method and pacing whichever school is the goal. See all 24 GATE programs in WA.
What our GATE tutoring includes
Each weekend session is three hours of small-group tutoring, taught by Perth Modern graduates and experienced WA tutors:
- Maths: 90 minutes of Quantitative Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning
- English: 90 minutes of Reading Comprehension and Written Expression
- A printed workbook to take home every week
- Weekly homework on the AsetPrep platform, marked for you, with feedback on every writing piece
- Full mock exams in class, marked the way the real GATE is
- Every class recorded, and live on Zoom if you cannot make it in person
- A progress note to parents every Sunday
Classes cost $74 a week for Maths and English together, and if you join after a term has started you only pay for the weeks left. See this term's dates and prices.
